Born in Savannah, GA, Steven started out singing on River Street with his brother Carlos. After losing both parents, they created “Jackie Boyz” in honor of their mother and took their music to LA — busking, hustling, and landing their first major cut with Flo Rida’s “Sugar.” That run led to songs for Madonna, Bieber, Sean Kingston, Bruno Mars, Ciara and more — and a Grammy. In 2014, Steven moved to Nashville to chase country. That leap led to a #1 Billboard Country, ASCAP Song of the Year (2019) - "One Number Away" with Luke Combs, and a publishing deal with Anthem Entertainment.
